my vehicle was wrongfully impounded by the state police. the trooper admitted his error and his supervisor said i had grounds for a formal or informal complaint. i could not afford to get my car out of impound and as a result my finance company saw it as a risk so they repossessed it. i could not afford that as well. now my credit is shot i owe 8000+ balance on my car and i am out a vehicle...What can I do??

As I suggested previously, why not file the formal/informal complaint with the state police

and see whether you can get some compensation for your losses.
