Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia

I would like to see if i can get an answer on this matter please. I gotten a EVICTION NOTICE and the person that went and got this is not on the agreement that i sign when i took over the rent. So what right do i have to get this change because I need to see about doing this ASAP. the agreement was between me and the husband and her name is not on the lease. Also i notice that when she went and gotten this she sign it as Plaintiff and she is not her husband is on the lease not her. So i would like to seee what i can do to see about getting this stop please. If you can advice me on this please so i can try to stop this from happening. this will take place on July 11, @ 9:00 am in the morning when i have to have everything out of the house

The pertinent legal issues in the situation described would seem to involve

whether you are now a valid subtenant of one of the leasees on

the original lease and whether you have materially violated any of the

terms or conditions of your sublease agreement.

Until these particular issues are clarified, I don't see how any reasonable

response beyond the foregoing might be offered for this particular situation.
