Breach of Contract

How far back can one file/sue concerning breach of contract issue? Is there a time limit set on this?

Deals with private school who had 2 teachers that were not credited and had no teaching degree.

The statutory limitation in the Commonwealth

for an action on a written contract is five years and three for an oral contract. These time periods are measured from the date of the last(alleged) breach of the contract and not from the date it was signed or agreed to by the parties.
