The mortgage loan for our home is in my wifes name only. The deed is in both our names. Am i liable for the mortgage payment should we divorce or separate?

Yes, (in my opinion), since if you refused to accept responsibility for

your equitable share of this mortgage, a judge in divorce proceedings

could order you to pay it as part of the final decree based upon

your ownership of this property as evidenced in this particular deed.
