Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

Real Estate Contract

Can my real estate agent/agency stop representing me in a real estate transaction once it has been initiated or do they have to see the transaction through to completion? They severed communication after they threatned to sue me if I didn't commit to a future purchase with their agency. They submitted the release to the seller but have since said they will not speak to me. They said their attorney would contact me. Please advise or refer me to an attorney in my area who specializes in real estate contract law.

Re: Real Estate Contract

I need more information to advise you. If you wish, you may contact me. If you are the buyer, what "future purchase" is involved?
