Concern About Law In Richmond Virginia

I am in the process of case being null processed, I want to know if someone due a background check on me for job purposes will it show up as convicted on my background, and aslo could I get it esponged after a certain amount of time.

If the charge against you were nolle pross'd, i.e., dismissed, you would have no record of conviction for this particular offense but the arrest record would remain until you had it expunged, under the requirements of Va. Code Sec. 19.2-392.2 et seq.
