Re: Probate and Estate Executer

There is no requirement of which I am aware that obligates the duly appointed executor of an estate to provide any information to anyone other than the probate court and the commissioner of accounts.

However, since at some point in the probate process, the executor must file an inventory of estate assets with the probate court which then becomes part of the public record of the case, you could go to the court and ask to inspect the court case file and see whether the property which you're interested in is listed as part of the inventory. (The foregoing assumes that you've already attempted to secure the information directly from the executor who has declined to provide it for whatever reason.)
