how do i answer a ''complaint for abatement of nuisance and injuctive relief?

You should really get an attorney for this. But if you're going to do this yourself, type up something that looks like the Complaint but is called "Answer" and be sure to put the file number on it.

Go through each paragraph of the complaint and, paragraph by paragraph, either write "deny" if you disagree with what is said or respond to each allegation.

When you get through responding to each paragraph, you can then write a counter-claim, paragraph by paragraph, if you have one.

Again, you should really get an attorney for this.

PS Be sure to respond within twenty days. Mail the original and one copy to the court with a self-addressed stamped envelope so they can stamp your Answer and send you the copy. Mail a copy to the person who mailed you the complaint. (For example, the other side's attorney).
