Legal Question in Consumer Law in Washington

I feel I was assulted by a spokane transit bus driver who was angry because I didnt have the 50 cents I owed the bus for an all day pass I purchased earlier in the day. I had planned on getting back on the same bus in just a matter of an hour, however the driver told me he didnt want to hear my crap and would not stop and pick me up again. I got off the bus and walked very upset around the front of it and he started going and hit me. I was not injured, just shook up. He then pulled up beside me and said I shouldnt have walked in front of the bus. I reported it to the police and his superviser but havc not heard from any of them until a week later when they called to ask where on my person was I hit. Can I file a lawsuit against sta? If so what kind of attorney would do this?

Your looking for a personal injury attorney if anyone at all. The key part of a personal injury lawsuit is the alignment of liability/fault and damages. The bus driver, and thus the county at least, sound liable in negligence (though other causes of action may be warranted given it might (is) a state actor), BUT how much should you be paid for your injuries? What amount of money would make you whole again? $1.00 + costs of the lawsuit?
