Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Can someone subpoena CPS or DCS for records? We've already requested the records but they are dragging their feet.

I assume the records are those you have a right to. If you have an active case, your attorney could subpoena the records for the purpose of that case.

But if you are in the investigation stage, the Department will not give you their records until they complete the investigation, which under most circumstances is required to be completed within 90 days according to RCW 26.44.030(12)(a), found at http://app.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=26.44.030.
