Legal Question in Personal Injury in Washington

Who's responsible for the medical bills?

My son fell down on one of the jagged rocks and had to rush to the emergency room to get stitches. Those rocks located at the common grassy area which technically belongs to HOA. Several neighbors had written letters to urge HOA remove the rocks so that kids in the neighborhood can play safely. Back to my son's injury, since the accident happened at the property of HOA, is HOA responsible for the medical bills?

Re: Who's responsible for the medical bills?

Hi:

They may have HO's insurance coverage which provides no fault insurance. There could be betweeen $2,000-$10,000 but you will have to investigate it by calling and reporting the claim to the insurer.

If you wish to talk about it at no charge and discuss potential liability, feel free to email me. I'd be happy to talk to you.

Dear Sir/Madam:

I am sorry to hear about your son's injury. Based on the short series of facts you have presented, the fact that the several neighbors have written letters to urge HOA to remove the rocks may demonstrate notice given prior to your son's accident. Such notice may serve as an issue in your case. I would have to look into your situation to determine liability.
