Legal Question in Personal Injury in Washington

what state ?

auto ins ''at no fault'' claim;

accident occured in wash. and the ins co i am corresponding w/ is back east - but have offices here in spokane too. question is do they have to abyed by 'back east's' laws regarding to my settlement or ours.

Washington law applies to a Washington auto accident, as to most any aspect of the claim I can think of.

Now, if the other party is from another state, even if the mandatory minimum coverage in that other state is LESS than Washington's, insurance policies generally provide that they will at least meet the minimum requirements of the state in which the accident occurred.
