Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Washington

I rent a house & my landlord went bankrupt last year and stopped paying the mortgage. I have continued to pay him and rent and he has just pocketed the money, except for the HOA dues which he says he has kept up to date. Is it legal for him to continue to collect the rent if he is no longer paying the mortgage and included the debt for it in his bankruptcy? The bank has not begun any foreclosure activity yet.

The bank has not begun any foreclosure activity yet. Therefore whose house is it? And you're staying there under a lease your obliged to pay? Pay your lease and begin looking for a new home either now or when the foreclosure begins as most banks do not want to keep the tenant. Note that as a tenant you have a number of protections post foreclosure when your actually paying on your lease. What you landlord does with his money (mortgage, bank, strip club, etc) is not your concern generally speaking.
