Legal Question in Social Security Law in Washington

disability for epilepsy

A friend is having trouble getting SSI for his epilepsy. He is 27 and has been unable to work for 5 years. The Army discharged him because of his health. He has had some temporary help from DSHS but has been denied SSI twice. Do you know what statues (RCW's I should look at or can you recommend a lawyer who works on a contingency basis?

Re: disability for epilepsy

All attorneys, with rare exception, provide DIB/SSI disability services on a 25% contingency basis. If you are in the Southwest Washington/ Portland metro area I am available to provide assistance. If you are in Seattle or Spokane or away from this area I can possibly refer you. The yellow pages in most communities under the Social Security specialty Attorney listing will identify people in the disablity area of practice.
