Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Washington

I was wondering how to view a will if you are in a different state? My dad is from Alabama and we live in Washington State. He hasn't see the will his mother left and would like to know how he can view it. The family has property which he has a share in, but he has never seen the will. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

I cannot answer to Alabama as every State has its own probate law. However, in Washington State a Will is private. The only way he can see the will is if his mother let's him. If his mother has passed away then the probate court should have a copy of the will. He should contact the court directly or hire a legal messenger service to get the court record and mail it to him. He could also contact an attorney near the court in question.
