I'm going through a divorce and have been separted for a few months and was wondering if anything can be done about me already having a boyfriend, and also about child custody my soon to be ex has been having our son a bit more than me lately what can I do about this, because he won't bring him back when I ask him to.

I am not licensed to practice in your state, so this post is not legal advice. You really need to ask these questions of your lawyer.

However, I'll give you a couple of general comments:

First, you're allowed to have a life. But keep in mind my grandmother's advice: Don't live it up so high that you can't live it down. Boyfriend should not sleep over. You and BF should behave in the child's home in a way that you won't mind your husband finding out.

Second, ask your attorney about getting an interim parenting schedule approved by the court. That makes the schedule a court-ordered schedule. And that means that, when one parent doesn't comply with the court-ordered schedule, the other parent has some remedies and can get help in retrieving the child.
