Legal Question in Civil Litigation in West Virginia

Managers of a local Dollar General store near my home refuse to allow me to shop there. THEY accuse me of having shoplifted but I have not done this. I KEEP telling them it is mistaken id. Do I have legal grounds, I reallt just want to be able to shop there as we have only two stores in town.

The store is private property. The managers don't have to let you in. If they choose not to, you just have to deal with it whether you agree with their reasons or not.

The managers might not be able to exclude people based upon their race, religion, etc. Otherwise, they can exclude you for any reason -- or even for no reason at all. A belief that you have stolen from the store in the past is a perfectly valid reason to exclude you, even if they are wrong.
