Legal Question in Disability Law in Wisconsin

Voluntary pay cut

I am a federal employee for 15 yrs. I was taken out of my current position d/t Management saying that I can no longer do my job physically. They have offered me another position which pays much less. I was told that I have to take a voluntary pay cut and take this job and they don't have to look for another better-paying position. If I was removed from my jof for physical reasons, isn't management

obliged to let me keep my current salary? My DR. released me to return to work last August but management tested me and said the results showed physical limitations. Don't they have to give me my current salary?

Re: Voluntary pay cut

More information is needed to give you an opinion. A couple of questions are whether your doctor released you to work with or without restrictions and whether your physical limitations were caused by your fed. govt work.
