Legal Question in Immigration Law in Wisconsin

I am from the USA. My fiance is from China. We are both retired and reasonably financially secure. If I would like her to come here, where is the best place to get married? China or USA?

This is a bit complicated, but I will keep it brief for this forum. In short, if she is to come to the U.S., you're going to need to petition her for a fiance visa. However, certain requirements need to be met.

If you get married in China, then she must Consular Process her case.

Start by going to travel.state.gov to find more information on fiance visas & immigrant visas through marriage.

Good luck to you both!

You can get married either in China or the US. It is not a problem. If you would like her to come ASAP, you may consider fiance visa. We suggest you to consult with an immigration attorney to discuss your options.
