Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Wisconsin

Federal Privacy Law

Filled out automobile loan papers that dealership Federal Express out to bank. They were put in a drop box with no label on them and federal express employee open up to find my loan application with all my private information on them. They called me to find out what they should do with the papers because my name was on them and not the auto dealerships. Not only one person looked at them but several people did at the Federal Express office. What legal rights do I have against the dealership for their mishandling of this???

Re: Federal Privacy Law

This sounds like a human mistake. There's no claim here and no damages, other than strangers looking at your stuff.

On the other hand, I wouldn't buy a car from people who handled important paperwork in this way.
