Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Wisconsin

I have recently been told that my moms will was stolen from the courthouse it was filed at by the attorney that wrote it up? where do wills get filed or kept, could it be the at the city hall where she lived.

The mayor at the time says she witnessed the theft.

A will is required to be deposited in the probate clerk office of the county where the decedent resided .The other point is that the attorney should have a receipt for the will that was deposited and maybe has a photocopy of it.Ifyou need further assistance call me at my office.
