Joseph Shulman, P.C.
Attorneys in Firm – 10I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Wayne State University in 1949 and my Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Michigan Law School in June 1952 and passed the Bar Exam in September 1952.
I have been in the general practice of Law since January 1953. I had represented Michigan National Bank for approximately 25 years, Montgomery Wards for approximately 6 years and City National Bank for approximately 3 years primarily in the area of collections, Mortgage foreclosures and Bankruptcy. During this period of time, I continued to do personal Injury work,Divorce,Criminal work and geberal civil litigation.
In the last 4 years, I have also undertaken Divorce mediation in addition to the above litigation. I believe that my experiencein trial work allows me to understand the Benefit of Mediation in the appropriate situations. It is generally much less expensive for the parties to reslove their own affairs through mediation and avoids much of the usual acrimony.
