Barbara Strowd

My practice is dedicated to the practice of family law. I am licensed in South Carolina and practice in Berkeley, Dorchester, Charleston, Colleton and Orangeburg Counties. In addition to being an advocate for my clients in the family court, I serve as a Guardian ad litem representing the best interests of minors in various family court actions. I am a member of the South Carolina Bar, and serve as a member of the Children's Law Committee. I am a member of the American Bar Association (ABA) and as an ABA member I am a member of the ABA General Practice, Solo and Small Firm Division and a member of the Family Law Committee in the division. I am also a member of the Section of Family Law and serve on the Military Committee within the section. I graduated from Mercer University (Walter F. George) School of Law. I was awarded the Woodruff Scholarship (full tuition) and was member of law review. Upon graduation I was presented with the Custer-Tuggle Award of Excellence from the American Academy of Matrimonial Attorneys.
