MR. SCHREYER joined the firm during his 25th year of practice in 2011. He earned his degree in Economics from Revelle College at the University of California at San Diego, after spending his junior year in France at the Universit� de Bordeaux. He then attended the University of California, Hastings College of Law in San Francisco where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree in 1986. He was admitted to the State Bar of California later that same year and to various Federal District Courts and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeal shortly thereafter. Mr. Schreyer gained substantial experience in civil litigation before limiting his practice almost exclusively to family law and child custody litigation in 1991. He was a sole practitioner for eleven years before he moved his practice to San Diego in 2004. Mr. Schreyer was a founding member of the Board of Directors of the Coalition for Cooperative Divorce. He served as a committee chair for the Small Firm and Sole Practitioner section of the San Fernando Valley Bar Association. He has been a member of the Family Law sections of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, San Fernando Valley Bar Association and the State Bar of California. Other past memberships include the Los Angeles County Juvenile Courts Bar Association and local chapters of the Children�s Rights Council. Mr. Schreyer has served as a judge pro tempore in Family Court and Small Claims Appeals, as a court-appointed family law mediator and as a panel attorney for the Los Angeles County Juvenile Dependency Court. He is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and the Family Law section of the San Diego County Bar Association.
