Engage in complex civil and business litigation on behalf of civil litigants; handle cases from inception to resolution in various courts of general jurisdiction focusing primarily on complex civil litigation, including but not limited to business and commercial litigation, business entity and corporate formation, drafting corporate filings and associated documents, contract formation, contract drafting and interpretation; provide advice and counsel on entertainment law issues, including the drafting of 360 contracts and other agreements, advising literary and music artists regarding copyright and protecting literary and musical works, administration and licensing of works, and the collection of blanket and mechanical royalties; A small portion of the practice is devoted to representing defendants on direct criminal appeals, post-conviction appeals, and appeals from the denial of relief from post-conviction relief.
