Eugene Akers

Attorney Eugene K. Akers received his Bachelors of Arts Degree in Political Science from North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, NC. He received his Juris Doctorate Degree from the Howard University School of Law in Washington, DC. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and New York. While attending law school, Mr. Akers worked for the Federal Public Defender in Anchorage, Alaska and served as an intern at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia for the Honorable Eric T. Washington. After law school, he was a law clerk to the Honorable Larry D. Card of the Anchorage Superior Court in Anchorage, Alaska. Mr . Akers has successfully represented clients charged in criminal matters, both misdemeanor and felony. Additionally, Mr. Akers has represented corporations, non-profit organizations and individuals with regard to personal injury, real estate, intellectual property and sports & entertainment matters.
