Jennifer Mayer

Jennifer Mayer represents clients facing criminal, white collar criminal, appellate, post conviction, and traffic matters in the District of Columbia and Maryland. Ms. Mayer has extensive experience with all aspects of criminal litigation and a proven track record of obtaining favorable results for clients facing difficult and complex charges. Jennifer has been selected as a Maryland SuperLawyers Rising Star for the years 2011 and 2012. This distinction is reserved for the top up-and-coming attorneys. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in Maryland receive this honor. While in law school, Jennifer received the Dean's Award for Professional Responsibility for her representation of low-income criminal defendants in her law school's Criminal Defense clinical program, as well as awards for her academic achievements in Legal Ethics and Criminal Defense. She also assisted clients in the Civil Practice Clinic with family and bankruptcy matters. While in law school, she served as a law clerk at the Office of the Public Defender and at a boutique white collar criminal defense firm.
