Kenneth Burgess

For over twenty years, I have practiced health care law, assisting providers of health care with regulatory, reimbursement, litigation, operations, and corporate legal issues. My practice focuses largely on legal issues facing long term care providers, although I have and do represent physicians, hospitals, clinics and other health care providers. I am a frequent lecturer on health care law to audiences of lawyers and/or laypersons at both the state and national levels and have published a number of books and manuals on this topic, along with scores of articles in industry journals, newsletters and magazines. I love bringing clients together with one another for creative business arrangements and looking for creative, non-traditional methods of resolving disputes, while always being prepared to utilize litigation and other traditional legal methods where necessary. I enjoy working with institutional and individual health care providers, trade associations, other lawyers and ordinary laypeople just trying to access or understand our country's complex and often beguiling health care system.
