Catherine LaFond
LaFond Law Group, PA
Attorneys in Firm – 2Catherine graduated from University of South Carolina School of Law in 1997 and immediately opened her own law firm in the Charleston area with a former law partner. Since then and until 2009, most of her business was comprised of real estate closings and estate planning. Once fully mired in the real estate recession, Catherine decided to pursue a long dreamed of aspiration and moved to Miami to get her LL.M. in Estate Planning at the University of Miami School of Law. After a tough year of living on South Beach she returned to Charleston to begin working with clients in this area which naturally and quickly expanded into the field of elder law. Her all female firm now focuses on helping seniors and their families preserve their dignity & assets through Medicaid Planning and Veterans Benefits Planning.
