MICHAEL S. DELANEY, PARTNER. Michael DeLaney focuses his practice on elder law and probate litigation. Mr. DeLaney frequently serves as a court- appointed guardian ad litem, in which capacity he provides representation to uphold the best interests of alleged disabled people. Michael DeLaney is a graduate of the University of Illinois as Urbana-Champaign and the Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College. Mr. DeLaney is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the American Trial Lawyers Association, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Chicago Bar Association - Elder Law Section, Illinois Bar Association - Elder Law Section, and the American Bar Association. He frequently provides public service presentations to senior groups on issues involving Elder Law and the prevention of elder exploitation.
