JOHN J. PEMBROKE
John Pembroke has over twenty-four years of experience as a business and tax lawyer, and twenty-seven years of experience preparing federal and state income, estate and gift tax returns and planning for income, estate and gift tax. John represents individual and corporate clients on such matters as business organizations, residen-tial and commercial real estate closings, leases, acquisitions, joint ventures, shareholder disputes, minority buy-outs, contracts and other general business matters. A licensed Certified Public Accountant, John has also acted as interim CFO for start-ups and as appropriate for client matters. His experience also provides John with the per-spective to advise on financial planning and re-lated matters, either independently or as part of a client��s financial planning team.
John also has a broad background in estate plan-ning and probate. John works with clients draft-ing estate planning documents, advising clients on estate planning, advising clients with difficult estate planning issues such as business succes-sion, generation skipping, and structuring closely held businesses to minimize estate tax. John graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Ac-counting from the University of Illinois at Chicago with honors and received his law degree from Northwestern University. John is actively involved in the Rotary Club of Park Ridge and is married with two children.
