Initially, our firm concentrated on Plaintiff�s representation in General Negligence cases and Texas Workers' Compensation Claims. Over the last 14 plus years our firm has expanded its' �Plaintiff Only� practice to include representation in Wrongful Death, Medical Malpractice, Products Liability, F.E.L.A. (Railroad Employee Injury Cases), F.L.S.A. (Fair Labor Standards Act) and general Labor Law issues. Our entire practice is focused on providing top quality, dependable legal representation and counseling to a wide variety of injured people in State and Federal Courts across East Texas.

Mr. Cowan is a fifth generation East Texan born in Tyler, Smith County, Texas on June 14, 1958 and was raised primarily in Longview and Texarkana before his family relocated to Dallas, Texas in 1969. He and his wife, Laneesa Gayle Cowan, were married in Longview, TX in 1983. They have two daughters, Mallory Paige Cowan (age 23) and Anne Claire Cowan (age 17). Mr. Cowan's personal interests and hobbies include college football, hunting, fishing, photography and working with plants. He and his family attend Marvin United Methodist Church in Tyler, TX.
Since 1991, Mr. Cowan has represented over 3000 Claimants in and under the Texas Workers Compensation administrative scheme alone and over 1000 Plaintiffs with Personal Injuries.
