Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
I was ticketed in Florida for Improper Backing. I backed my truck into a concrete pole. This accident happened at my place of business inside a fenced in lot. This Parking lot is on Private Property with no Public access and even a gate with a key code. Can i be written a ticket for this? The only damage was to my own vehicle.

The short answer is that you can't get in trouble for damaging your own property. Just make sure the pole does not belong to a neighbor or the city or someone other than yourself. If it doesn't then you should be safe. Besides if the only damage was to your own vehicle, who is going to report it anyway?
