i have applied against an advertisement of up public service commision,,,,,,now the election duty and the commision interview falls on same date,,,i m a Govt employee,,, can i be exempted from election dity??????????

Dear Sir / Madam,
No, each and every Government employee in service is duty bound to first attend election duty. You should get the specific date and time of your interview confirmed well in advance by the UP Public Service Commission and based on such confirmation, obtain prior written approval and sanction from your reporting Manager, to be relieved from duty for the 3 (three) hours duration coinciding with your time of interview, to enable you to accomplish both the tasks.
