Legal Question in Administrative Law in India

there is a car in my late father's name which i want to transfer to my name.i have already applied for survival certificate.all my family members want it to be transfered in my name and have no objection.Once I get survival certificate will i still need to apply for survival certificate for transfer of rc in my name or not ?I know many other formalities need to be done for rc and that i will do.My only question is will i need succession certificate once i get survival certificate?

It would be better if you approached the RTO and inquired about the documents needed for the transfer of ownership. Then collecting them wount be an issue. I doubt wether a succession certificate will be needed for the car.
