Dear Madam / Sir,
In India, no sooner a service provider receives a complaint from the user that the mobile is lost or misplaced, the SIM card is immediately deactivated. A fresh SIM card is issued to the customer by the service provider, which takes around two hours to be activated. The control mechanism is already in place, and I do not see the need for intervention of a Judge of the High court to issue any ruling or judgement in the public or national interest.
Regards,
