one of my friend willing to start on MHADA LEASED LAND through Builder. first that land was allotted To his Grand mother. As per her will it was to be transferred on his (friend's) Father's name, he had applied for mutation on the name of his father in 1996 but till the parcel piece of land has not been transferred on the name of his father. Also lease period has been completed in 1996. What to do now? Can we extend the lease.

Dear Sir / Madam,

es, The Will has to be probated from the Court for the transfer of the title of the property in the name of your friend's father who is the beneficiary named in the Will and the land lease with MHADA will have to be renewed.
