Legal Question in Administrative Law in Pakistan
On Monday,L sent a letter to M offering M 3500 pounds for M's old van.M telephoned L leaving a message on L's answer phone saying that he was happy to sell it at the suggested price.When L returned home he accidentally deleted all messages before listening to them.On Wednesday L wrote to M offering 4000 pounds for the van.On Thursday,M emailed an acceptance of the 4000 pounds offer and the message was downloaded by L's wife but she forgot to tell L about the offer.On Saturday,L met M in the street and M said that as he had heard nothing from L he had sold the van elsewhere.
Advise L who has had to pay 6000 pounds for a similar van.
