Are damages and remedies the same thing or there is some kind of difference?
please, illustrate. From a Desperate law student

Hello Law Student:
Damages are a form of Remedy. Damages means compensation for wrongs e.g. breach of contract. Remedies can be of different types e.g. order of specific performance, injunctions etc.
