Legal Question in Administrative Law in India
My uncle is a Govt. Servant. Can he work online as a consultant after office hours for one or two hours for a company which is completely software nature of work and is not related to present job. Also, if he shows this income as income from other source for IT purpose, is there any legal complicacy for his Govt. job. Kindly communicate your advice !!!

Dear Sir / Madam,
Being a Government servant, your Uncle may engage in private Consulting, with the prior approval and consent of his Head of Department (HOD) to avoid hampering and risking his job.
