Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in India
If a property in West Bengal is in Burdwan City then a partition suit has to be filed in Burdwan District Court or it can be filed with Calcutta High Court ? Is it necessary to always go through District Judges Court or such cases can be directly filed with High Court ?

the suit for partition has to be filed where the immovable property is situated and in the present case it is Burdwan.
