Legal Question in Banking Law in India
If the Bank will have general lien on the money of the account holder in case if it is found that the account holder is in due of certain amount to the Bank and if so can the Bank hold the said account or balance. Any case laws on said

you send a notice to the bank asking them under whAT LAW THEY HAVE WITHELD YOUR ACCOUNT AND APPROACH THE CONSUMER FORUM.

Dear Sir / Madam,
Yes, the bank is authorized to withhold the A/c if there are outstanding unsettled dues owed by the A/c holder to the bank since the A/c holder remains at fault.
