Legal Question in Banking Law in India
I have bearer cheque in my name of indian bank , is it possible to encash it from sny branch or should be only home branch of drawer

Dear Sir / Madam,
You can encash the cheque from the drawer's branch only, and not from any other branch of Indian Bank.

If it is payable at par at any branch, it can be encashed at any branch. The paying branch may demand proof of identity of the payee.
