Legal Question in Banking Law in India
hi my name is brahma, I am a self-employed professional, my father had borrowed 5 lakhs from someone, I had never met that person neither did I spoke to him on phone, my father's cheque had been bounced only once but they had made me part of the legal notice, how can I save myself from being part of this case. I dont understand how can file a case against me

Dear Brahma,
The question is whether your father has repaid the borrowed amount of Rs. 5 lakhs or is it still outstanding. If it is outstanding, your immediate task at hand is to somehow repay the borrowed amount and relieve yourself of your father's liabilities.
