Legal Question in Banking Law in India
My brother died 6 months ago. He had taken personal loan from a private bank and also taken insurance on that. Since we had not filed an FIR and don't have postmortem report the insurance company denied to pay the insurance. Now bank is asking us to pay the loan. What should we do? Kindly suggest.

Dear Sir / Madam,
If your brother had died a normal death, you should inform the Insurance Company that he has died normally and not by accident. So there is no need for an FIR and postmortem report for this and request the Insurance Company to settle your brother's insurance claim towards repayment of his bank loan.
Regards,
