Can I cancel a cheque in Pakistan if a deal has fallen through ?

if this deal is not cancelled in written then it can be complicated and prop up criminal litigation against you.
if things are verbal than first a suit and getting appropriate orders from the court. that you are no more liable to carry out your part of the deal (i.e making the payment).
