Legal Question in Banking Law in
i have a cheque which is in my name with the a/c no mentioned however the account has been closed 4 months back,i do howeve hold another a/c in the same branch..can i deposit that cheque in this a/c.i cant get the cheque reissued .kindly advice

The question is not clear. If you are the payee and your closed account is mentioned on the cheque, better ask the drawer to issue a cheque without account no. or the account No. which is not closed. If your bank agrees you can have the cheque with your closed account No. collected by providing indemnity to your bank
