Legal Question in Banking Law in
A customer cheque has bounced due to insufficent balance. I have informed the customer and he has agreed.
I want to know the cheque deposited by me will be automatically given to the customer by bank or......what action i have to take??

you will have to collect the dishonoured cheque from the bank. Show him the cheque, but, do not give back the dishonoured cheque unless you have received the cash or demand draft. But if he gives you the cheque again, then keep this cheque until new cheque is honoured. However, if he is not bringing the money then send him a written legal notice with in 30 days of dishonour that cheque has been dishonoured.
