Legal Question in Banking Law in India
I have a demand draft ( I am being payed) which has expired by 7 days. How can I get paid now ( or re-validate) ? Is it possible to do so without involving the payer?
Thanks in advance.

Dear Sir / Madam,
You should approach the payer's Bank with a request to them to reissue a new demand draft in place of the expired draft, and pay the necessary Bank charges for re-issue of the same. Yes, you need not involve the payer in this matter, since the payer's Bank will do the needful.
Regards,
