i had a deposit cheque in my account but it is bounce. if i take legal action than how long time will take for recover the money

you need to send a legal notice first, within a period of one month of bouncing of cheque and only after that you are entitled to file a complaint under negotiable instruments act. the time varies from state to state and court to court.
